High on a log!
Zippy, Souix and Jo-Anne are the grand organizers. They play softball together in Santa Cruz.
Jason got wet every other hour searching the stream and hunting for polly-wogs. We brought home two pollywogs!
Hanging around the fire
The best thing about spring camping is keeping warm early and late by the fire.
Scary stories, hotdogs, marshmellos, and staying up as late as possible and then falling asleep dead tired.
Camping Friends
Kaily was there the first time we went camping. She is a beautiful dog and fun to play with. Jason throws the ball with a chuck-it for her. It is fun watching the dogs try and find the chipmonks and dig big holes after them.A new friend Zach camped with us this year. It was Zach's first time camping. The first 20 minutes he was there I was wondering how it would go, because he kept insisting he needed to change his shoes because they were dirty. He adapted quite well!
The boys decided to take their camping chairs and sit over by themselves and have their own conversation!
This face of Jason's just makes me laugh.
Packing up is never fun. We were sad to leave. But before we hit the highway, Jason was asleep for 4 hours. That is my sign of a good time for a 5 year old.
Your blog is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I love it.
ReplyDeleteI need to change mine but, you know, no time.
