We love the 4th.

Every Year we go to Santa Cruz for the 4th. And each year there is something amazing. This year we got a puppy! And we had a great time at the parade, with friends and hanging out.



The unusal thing for me was I was on call and had to work. I got a sev 1 call right in the middle of our bbq on the 3rd. We had the usual bbqing, beach jaunts and my favorite the Aptos 4th of July parade. Eva could say parade this year and was very cute in her cubs hat. We didnt stay for fireworks this year, but we made it back for some block party fireworks.







We sit out in front of a donut shop...where can you get a donut like this one!



You can find anything in the santa cruz parade. I love the live music, the dogs and the daughters of the revolution...they dont usually have an uncle sam on stilts however.





You have to remember it is Santa Cruz! A little bit of everything. Even a pro-life contingent however small.
